Simple, Beautiful Movements
Last weekend I was able to shoot twelve individuals' theatrical head shots!
It was a fifteen minute session for each person and we had three different settings.
Three hours and fifteen minutes of searching through the camera lens, on an adventure to sense and capture the perfect angle of each person was ... enduring and lovely.
Because I watched the brush of a finger against a cheek, the tip of a chin, and the eyes gaze into the unknown world with fierce determination.
Sam Levenson.
“For Attractive lips, speak words of kindness.
For lovely eyes, seek out the good in people.
For a slim figure, share your food with the hungry.
For beautiful hair, let a child run their fingers through it once a day.
For poise, walk with the knowledge that you never walk alone.
People, more than things, have to be restored, renewed, revived, reclaimed, and redeemed.
Remember, if you ever need a helping hand, you will find one at the end of each of your arms.
As you grow older, you will discover that you have two hands, one for helping yourself and the other for helping others.”

Fiona Ayerst Underwater Photography - 2012
This underwater photography program has got to be one of the most interesting internships I have done so far because I was challenged to really capture His beauty and show how glorious His creations are, and through this, bring to life His resurrection!!
If you go to my portfolio, I will be putting up my best work throughout the internship, to go straight there, just click here!
Social Butterfly Internship - 2011
I never thought that I would in my life have anything to do with detail oriented companies like a wedding event planner. And I realized quickly enough after I took this photograph, that I really did not like the detail oriented work. So instead- I was to jumpstart a newsletter for Social Butterfly! That's something more up my alley :)
If you'd like to see the Social Butterfly website, click on the photo.
If you want to check out the articles, enjoy Social Butterfly Wedding Planning Blog!
They are labeled under Something Blue Newsletter.

PALS Internship - 2011
People and Animal Learning Services is a "nonprofit Equine Assisted Program providing therapeutic riding for children and adults with disabilities and at-risk youth". They are located in Bloomington and have been helping kids and adults gain the benefits of riding therapeutically.
I got involved with PALS when I was to create an audio video for my class, J210. When the PALS staff saw the video, they asked me to intern with them to create three more audio videos!
I am in love with this non profit, because each day when I go to gather footage, and when the volunteers and paid staff go in to work, they know that they are truly helping those in need :)
To learn more about PALS, you can peruse PALS Therapy in Bloomington, Indiana.

Audio Slideshow: J-210
Dear Friends. I love photography. The photo you see there, is just one that God let me capture. Each time I catch a snapshot of something beautiful, my heart is happy and my eyes are "visually stimulated" as they say in class.
Thank you God for the opportunity to meet Chuck Saunders, find a local ride that will easily take Alan and I fishing, and be at peace on the water and in You.
If you click on Alan's photo... it will take you to the link of my audio slideshow project :)

Marching Hundred - 2011
:) The reason that I'm in the Marching Hundred as far as I know, is to be humbled. Here's some photos of the beauty that comes from it, even when we don't realize its happening. Let's see how this goes. I have links below, where you can see all the photos- let me know if they're not working!
