Day 3: Stress
Today I learned that Germans put up walls and keep to themselves.
Taking their photos is no exception - and that is what I ran into, a lot of strange looks and feelings of tension that rendered me awkward and seemingly creepy.
I couldn't shake that feeling and this uncomforted stopped me from photographing students on one of Berlin's largest university campuses.
Stress started building up... I came here with a charge to take photos and tell the story of missions in Berlin in order to inspire others to take the leap, but it seems impossible.
Locks of love (Check out the photo in my Photo Journal) and great company after we left boosted my hopes. But I will be the first to admit that today was tough.
Tomorrow is another day, another university and another way to take photos. And with God's strength, I will take on tomorrow with optimism. For I know he's called me here to do good works with the talents He gave me.
