Day 6: Saved
We went there today in order to get a good picture of how many German students there are who we desire to know someone who is truly following Jesus. There's 74,000+ seats in that stadium and like 120,000 students... two whole stadiums and some.
We also went there to get a good picture of how Nazi supremacy does not reign anymore. The stadium was initially built by all male Aryan hands to show dominance, power and success under the pure Nationalist Regime (the Nazi Regime). After invasion and the East/West divide, it was bombed and considered to be left to rot. But instead it was saved - to show that while such history has shamed and disgraced Germany, they will move forward, not give up and strive for more.

Day 7: Sanctified
Other great engineers, designers and thinkers have come from Germany and others are rising to that occasion now. Just one university has had 14 people receive Nobel Peace Prizes and the cost for one student to attend university is less than 300 euro a semester ($370).
Berliners have not forgotten their past, but realize their future is in their own hands and everything can change in a day. The mayor has said, "Berlin is poor, but sexy!" - which just goes to show that while the city has come a long way from WWII there is still a long way to go.
Prayers that the lesson to surrender to the sanctifying God wants to do in your life is heard and sticks in your heart until you surrender to the One who knows you better than you know yourself!
