Or are you getting the feeling that we're trapped in our city too?
After 16 summer vacations, I'm convinced that being free from
school routines does not satisfy our desire for freedom.
Because we can always find one more thing we're not free from...
there are still bills, family drama and pressure to look good.
But is how we're thinking and feeling correct?
Are we actually trapped or is our mind trapping us?
Thinking that you're stuck in your situation, body, or schedule - is a lie.
You may be in a certain place and situation, but you're not in bondage to it.
We're not trapped. And in order to breath in life to the fullest this summer, I encourage you to re-align your mind to what is true: Live as people who are free, not using your freedom as a cover-up for evil, but living as servants of God. (1 Pet. 2:16)
So explore. Embrace the summer. Take time to be simple. Or simply creative. Get quiet.
Or get loud. Either way, set your sights straight this year and live abundantly.
